Client compliance portal for UK accountants

PracticeComply gives accountants a clear place to manage client readiness, missing documents, Companies House status and practical scam-safety checks.

It is built for small and growing practices that need structure before buying or building a larger practice-management platform.

Where it fits in the practice

Use PracticeComply for the repeatable follow-up work that usually lives across spreadsheets, inboxes and individual staff notes.

  • Record MTD Income Tax readiness and missing evidence.
  • Track Companies House identity verification follow-up status.
  • Send document requests through a private client portal link.
  • Keep suspicious invoice, email and link reviews visible for the practice team.

Example accountant workflow

A practice can start with a small client group before moving wider compliance follow-ups into the portal.

  • Add the client and preferred language.
  • Set MTD and Companies House status.
  • Create a request for bank statements, UTR, company details or a client confirmation.
  • Review uploads, close requests and keep the activity history with the client record.

What it is not

PracticeComply is intentionally narrow at launch so the core workflow stays clear.

  • It is not HMRC-recognised filing software.
  • It does not complete official Companies House identity verification.
  • It does not replace professional judgment, tax advice or legal advice.
FAQ

Questions before you start

Can I use it for real clients?

Yes. The product supports real practice/client workflows, but you should start with a controlled client group and avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive data.

Can I export data later?

Yes. Owners and Admins can download self-service CSV exports for clients, requests, tasks, activity and uploads. These operational exports are not a complete database backup and do not include secrets, tokens or 2FA materials.

Does it support Polish-speaking clients?

Yes. Client requests can be written in English, Polish or both while official UK terms remain in English.
